If you register and log on, you can set up your profile, set up your blog, join the forums (please note that if you want any specific forums for a particular club, event, topic, etc, ust let us know in the website feedback forum and we shall set it up for you asap).

You will have a member list and has this grows you can make connections to other site users. You can send messages to all those in your connections folder, manage all your articles, blog entries, and forum subscriptions. We aim to keep adding useful stuff to the site for your enjoyment, but do feel free to use the feedback section of the forum to let us know what you would like to see on the site.

Work has been held up a little by the fact we are expecting another child any day now, we will keep you posted on this in the coming days.

Rossendale Shotokan KC member Rick Payne writes about a Heian Godan - Bunkai - Applications Course held at the club

The course was held in the familiar surroundings of All Saints High School Gym and was attended by ten club members of all ages and grades from 7th kyu upwards. In his introduction Sensei Garside promised that the aim of the course was to open up our understanding of the Heian Godan kata and develop the movements beyond the conventional interpretations and into more complex and subtle applications.
